Vehicle Detail

I'm looking to sell my newly rebuilt 46 Chevy truck. It was completely redone from the frame up over the summer. It sits on its stock frame that is boxed from the front to the back of the cab. It has a MII front suspension with 2.5" lowering springs and a 95 blazer rear end that sits on top of the leaf springs with 3" lowering blocks. Its probably lowered between 5.5-6" in the rear. It sits level with no rake from front to back. It has a gm performance crate 350 with 260 hp, a turbo 350 trans with a 2500 stall and the 95 blazer rear. The engine has a 3 year/36000 mile warranty and is all new components. Most of the engine parts are polished aluminum or chrome. The headers are ahc coated. It has a champion racing aluminum radiator with a spal fan. Every part and piece involved in the brakes and suspension are new. The grill was rechromed and the stainless was professionally polished. All chrome and stainless items on the truck are either new parts or professionally replated and polised parts. The bumper was tucked in closer to the body during the build. The body was blasted before the build and is all steel. The firewall was smoothed and a transmission hump was added to the floor for clearance. The truck has reproduction GMC hood props that hold both sides of the hood open without resting them on the paint. The bed, tailgate, roll pan, and splash aprons are all new steel parts and the rest of the truck is original factory steel parts worked back into shape the right way. No filler in place of metal anywhere in the truck. The glass is all 50 state legal smoked glass with a v butt windshield with a modern molding around it. The windshield crank handle on the dash was converted to run a 1972 Chevy truck wiper switch from the factory location on the dash. The bolt kit used to assemble the truck was all stainless. The bed strips, tailgate chains, taillight brackets, and taillights are also stainless. The tailights are led and the truck has an american autowire harness. All lights, turn signals and gauges work like they should. The truck has an 81 thunderbird style power rack for the steering and a power brake booster mounted under the cab for the brakes. There is a carpeted plate to cover the booster hole and a custom made floor mat that covers the entire floor of the truck. It has discs up front and all new drums in the rear. The bed wood is a red oak with a light stain and 3 coats of lacquer on top and bottom. The tires are Coker classic radials with polished 15x4.5's in the front and 15x7's in the rear. I also have a set of 15x8 wheels included with tires that fit tight under the rear fenders but would work if the rear had a panhard bar or a different rear end set up. The interior is all new with auto meter gauges, an aluminum gauge cluster, a chrome tilt column, an aluminum banjo style steering wheel, and aluminum and stainless pedals. The interior paint is all gloss black with chrome and aluminum accents. The truck has 3 sets of seat belts in it. The new gas tank is mounted under the bed with a billet fuel door mounted in the bed. The carpet, kick panels, door panels and headliner are all new and the seat is the third row out of a 91 caravan. The battery is an odyssey dry cell mounted behind the seat in a billet box. I have extra doors, a fender, a hood, new 2"dropped spindles and a lot of other spare and unused parts that can go with the truck. I have a folder stacked full of receipts from the build. The truck is a very nice driver lots of time and money invested. A majority of the parts came from Speedway, Summit Racing, Jim Carter Classic truck parts and Chevs of the 40s. I have a clear Ks title in my name. I have probably 100 or so photos of the truck at different stages of completion. The reasons for selling this truck are it doesn't really suit my family of 5 well and it put me into a bit of debt building it. Call 785-220-4411 with questions or email if interested and able to buy. This truck is for sale locally so the auction may end at anytime before the reserve is met. The truck is for sale worldwide but shipping is the buyers responsibilty. The reserve is very fair for the amount of parts and labor that went into this truck so bid to own. Worldwide bidders welcome all funds will clear bank before the truck leaves my garage. Thanks and good luck bidding. On Dec-22-13 at 20:43:03 PST, seller added the following information: I forgot to mention that the truck has had a 4 wheel laser alignment done. I have driven the truck on the highway to my work on 3 different occasions up to 75 mph with no issues. It's a turn key ready to get in and go anywhere truck with no issues. it never gets over 190 degrees. The fan is thermostat controlled to come on at 185. The buy it now and reserve have been lowered if it doesn't sell at these prices it will not be relisted I'll just keep it.On Dec-25-13 at 20:44:09 PST, seller added the following information: I also forgot to mention that I have new chrome peep mirrors that come with the truck if they're required in your state. The truck also has a reproduction chrome 46 rear view mirror mounted in the header panel. High bidder owns it at the end!!! Thanks and good luck bidding.
