1985 Porsche 944 Coupe 1985 Porsche 944 This car came to us from Southern California where it had been sitting in storage for a number of years. A two owner car, this 944 is in quite good condition given its age. The paint appears to be mostly original and the interior is in much better shape than we typically see them in. The car runs great, doesn’t smoke and sounds good. The clutch and transmission both operate smoothly and positively. There is no rust anywhere that we can see and overall the body is in good condition. Amazingly enough both the hatch and hood struts are good (they always seem to be bad). The sunroof opens and closes with no grinding or hesitation. So many of these 944s ended up being crashed, abused, or neglected over the years. This example seems to have escaped relatively unscathed and should provide its new owner with many miles of enjoyment. These 944’s are really fun to drive and the big flared fenders still look attractive and aggressive even today. This would be a perfect weekend car or an awesome first Porsche for someone wanting to get into an exotic car at a very reasonable price. We are running this car as a no reserve auction; whatever the bidding gets to is the number the car will sell for. Make sure if you are bidding you ask all questions before hand, we are happy to answer any and all questions. We have had a bit of an issue lately with non-paying bidders, this ruins it for everyone. We are real car guys; we own vintage Porsches as our personal cars and are active in the racing community, winning the Rose Cups 3 out of the last 4 years.
