Vehicle Detail
my reserve is very low, almost scrap price. i dont want any pains i just want this car out off my parents property. if you have less than 5 positive feedbacks contact me BEFORE bidding or i will cancel it. i know how these scammers and bots operate. shipping is NOT included and i am willing to work with whatever option you choose as far as shipping or pickup. i will hold the car as well but i must have a NON refundable down payment of 100 dollars via pay pal. for your consideration is a 1974 amc gremlin. it has the original 232 and automatic transmission with a 1 barrerl carb. ive had the car for several years and sadly realize it will be a year or 2 until i get back to finish it. it was not running when i got it and the previous owner said he was going to rebuild the engine and that it sat for about 20 years. it only has 30k on it so i figured i would try and get it running. i did a full tune up and oil change. i rebuilt the carb and cleaned the gas tank. i got it running and the engine sounded very well. it did not smoke or leak oil. i also installed a new thermostat and had the radiator checked. i then installed a trans filter kit and new fluid. i was able to lot drive it around. after i got all the new brakes on it i proceeded to start installing the interior. i would say 60-75 percent of it is installed. i put the freshly covered bucket seats in as well and the new carpet and repainted plastic trim pieces and door panels. it has a good black headliner in it. the dash is out because i was in the middle of swapping it to stick shift. i have the dash and all of the trim pieces. just the interior could be parted for what i expect to get out of it. the reason i stopped with the project is because i lost the garage i was working on it in. it has been sitting for about 1-2 years since then. the previous owner had the floor pans and rockers replaced. it needs a good amount of body work as evident by the bondo on the lower quarters and surface rust. the front fenders must be taken off to have the doors installed correctly. if the gas tank and carb are cleaned it should fire up relatively easily with a new battery. this would make a great project for someone with some garage space or father/son. most everything is there so its just a matter of some wrenching and tinkering. email me for any questions or need for some more pics and happy bidding!!
