This 2004 Audi wagon puts the SPORT in sport-luxury. Its a 2004 S4 Avant quattro 4.2. It is in very good condition , and it runs and drives great. It combines V8 power, tight handling, and all wheel drive with the utility of a wagon. This has to be one of the most fun-to-drive station wagons ever made.... The S4 Avant comes form the factory very well equipped, and this one adds about $4300 in factory options including the TipTronic transmission, BOSE audio system, rear side window shades, and the Premium package (moonroof, HomeLink, auto rearview and sideview mirrors, memory driver's seat and more). The exterior is in very good condition. There are no significant dents or dings, and the paint shines all around - no fade spots, no discoloration. Carfax does show an accident back in 2005. The car was functional after the accident, and there iss no frame damage. Repairs were obviously expertly done, as we notice no visible signs of the work, and the paint all matches. The original owner continued to drive the car, and took very good care of it. Carfax also shows 33 service records, from the time the car was new, right up until about 3 months ago Exterior features include 18" alloy wheels, fog lamps and roof rails. The interior is also in good shape, but not like new. There are no rips, burn holes or holes in the leather and Alcantara seats, but the Alcantara inserts are showing some wear. We are selling this car as is, but we can have the inserts re-upholstered for you at addional cost. Both front seats have power controls, and the driver's seat has memory settings. The rear seat is in very good shape. The rear side windows have optional manual window shades. The cargo area is clean and roomy. A privacy shade and cargo net are included. You can fold down either or both of the rear seats if you need extra space. This Audi has some nice features: power windows, locks and mirrors; remote entry; cold auto dual-zone air conditioning; tilt/telescopic wheel; cruise control; and much more. The optional TipTronic automatic transmission also has a sequential manual mode. This S40 Avant also has a power glass moonroof. The 4.2 liter V8 runs great. Its rated at 340 hp and 302 lb-ft of torque. It is smooth, responsive and just plain powerful. As noted earlier, it has also been regularly maintained. The tires have very good tread all around. There is some curb rash in spots on the wheels, but its minor, mostly around the edges. Carfax shows accurate mileage.
