Vehicle Detail
1963 Lincoln ContinentalHard Top with Suicide Doors. This 1963 Continental was purchased by my dad to restore the car to its original glory. He had purchased a car exactly like this back in 1963 and always loved the car. We have been purchasing all the parts to restore this car for almost 2 years. We have done a lot of work on this car mechanically. New Carburetor, New shocks, New exhaust system, New fuel pump, New heavy duty alternator, New battery, and a list of other items. Can provide all the recites from the mechanic. We have put approximately 5k into the car in mechanical work. The car has had all the trim removed so it can be painted easily. All the parts are labeled and could be re chromed if desired but they are not in bad shape. Rocker panels and all the moldings have minimal wear on them mostly needs a good machine buffing and they will shine again. Also have brand new custom molded carpets for the car plus an extra two yards of material to do the door panel ends and the back glass window area. The headliner is in great shape just has an area that is about 6 inches that needs to be re sown back together. Also have both rear end chrome bumper ends. The driver side rear had some rust so we ended up purchasing a set.The car needs a new paint job and new upholstery set of tires and she will look like she did back in 1963.My dad was a big JFK fan and he had seen Kennedy had one just like this at his family compound in Hainesport MA and had to have it. My dad's health is not very good anymore and decided not to continue with the restoration project. I have several Lincoln's of my own and already have a 1965 triple black myself so I am listing it on e bay for him.If you have any questions or you want any additional pictures please contact me.
