1968 VW Beetle "Bug". Restored. Painted "Jet Black". Body was free of dents and rust to begin with.I have restoration pictures available. Motor and car was sent to Herrerra Service Shop- VW Specialist. (El Paso Texas (1216 Kastrin St. El Paso, Tx 79907)). 1 tire new (0 miles). Other 3 are good condition. Also comes with the factory extra rim/tire. New carpet and top inside roof vinyl. Reapholstered back seat and bottom of passenger seat. The original inside parts have not been cleaned that is why there are some brown stains visible. My intention was to ratrod it, but it came out beautiful and classic. Factory radio, but not working. Front lights work, but not back turn lights. All the wires are there but I am not sure how to connect them. Pictures show outside, inside, and under the car. Runs 75+ on highway I drove it from El Paso, TX to Deming NM in an ice storm and it did excellent all the way. Clean clear title. The bottom pans were not replaced during overhaul. I do have new pans but the body shop told me that they were not needed. New carpet is black with new insulation installed it feels "cushy". None of the restoration was done by me, I dropped it off and then received emails with photographs of progression (which I have). Paint is stretched and laid on professionally and beautifully. The paint color is called Jet Black which I was told is the blackest of black like a mirror or glass black and yes you can tell the difference. It has all 4 chrome hubcaps plus the extra chrome hubcap for the extra tire (extra does not hold air) Back and front seat belts are all there. Hand brake works. The only modification to the body was the covering up of the bumper holes to give it the smooth look, but they can be uncovered (I have the original front bumper if you want to take it). Motor runs like new (not 100% sure it is 1300 cc but it runs strong and gets up to highway speeds easily) and transmission shifts smoothly . Original steering but it has a separate ignition switch wired underneath, I was thinking of making it a push start. Window seals are original and not replaced, they are painted in the same mirror like black "jet" black, they show some crackling but they are still sealing correctly.Windows are operating correctly. Radio looks original but not connected, no speakers. Windshield has a small rock chip. It does have the VW emblem that attaches on the hood, but is not shown on pictures. I do not know if the heater/air works. Daily driver, once you get all the lights working, not all bulbs are in or wires are incorrectly matched because before the resto everything was working. It has LED lights so they shine red even through the blacked out lens. There is a window washer receptacle and tubes are located in front of the car, in the luggage space (extra tire space) but they are not connected. No reserve, no buy now price.
