1988 Avanti Low Reserve Vehicle Description: You are bidding on a 1988 Avanti. The 1988 Avanti’s used the Monte Carlo SS (Super Sport) frame and running gear. There are no hog troughs to worry about like earlier Avanti's. This is a Michael E. Kelly design (non Studebaker) Avanti with only 100 coupes built in 1988. Our 1988 Avanti Luxury Sports Coupe has: Automatic Transmission with Overdrive, 5.0L 305 V8, Power Windows, Tinted Windows, Leather Interior, Luggage Rack, Wood Steering Wheel, Wood Dash, nice Tires on excellent Chrome Wire Wheels. Body is fiberglass. Chevy parts readily available from your parts store. Speedometer shows 71,771 miles. The car is licensed and ready to drive. Young and old are amazed by its unique styling. See new parts included. Paint is in fair condition, with older paint job that has various nicks, chips and scratches. It is ok for a daily driver and looks nice from a distance, but isn't a show car. New Windshield was installed. New Napa battery installed. AC Car, but Air Conditioning not currently working. Wire wheels have 15" tires on rear and 14" on front, giving it a nice stance. Missing hood release handle. Antenna goes up and down, but stereo isn't working. Was in storage and may need miscellaneous, depending if you want a driver, or a show car.
