This auction will be for a really remarkable 1986 Corvette Convertible. All 1986 Corvette Convertibles are Indy Pace cars. This one has a nice original Black exterior finish with a clean Red Leather interior. It comes very nicely equip with power windows, power door locks, power mirrors, tilt wheel steering, air conditioning, cruise control, a custom Pioneer am/fm/cd player and a power drivers seat. The engine is the stock 350 Tuned port Injected V8 engine with a manual four speed transmission with the overdrive button. The engine is all stock and never modified. The clutch and transmission are also the original and never modified either. The overdrive button works on all gears and the car runs and shifts perfect. There are no oil leaks, no smoke, no noises and the drivetrain is tight and strong like you would expect it to be. The brakes, suspension and steering are all also in excellent condition. The non smokers Red leather interior is also in great shape. There is a little wear starting on the drivers side bolster, but that is just typical from getting in and out of the car. Other than that, the interior is really clean. The leather is soft and not cracked of split. The carpet is all clean, the dash is not faded or cracked and even all the LCD read outs work perfect. There are no blanked out symbols or numbers. All the selections work perfect and all the numbers are readable. The power antenna is not working and the air conditioning is not working. Everything is hooked up and complete, but they not work. Probably because of the age of the car. All the other electrical items, switches, gauges etc. are all working properly, including the power top. There are no stains or smells either and Overall everything is in order and with a nice original and clean appearance. The Black exterior body can also be described as having the same very nice clean and original appearance as the interior. The paint looks all original and we see no signs of any repaints, accidents or previous damage. The original 16" alloy wheels are also clean with no brakes dust or pitting. There is some light clear coat fading on the wheels, but not anything that needs to be touched up. There are also some typical small road rock chips on the front end and some small frays on the top. The door window felt plastic is cracked but is still all there. However, this is to be expected with a used car or this age. These imperfections in no way deter the very nice appearance of the car. In fact, it only adds to the car to show how original it is. Nothing has been touched up or sprayed over and these imperfections are really nothing you would touch up. The convertible top is the original top. The back plastic is faded, but we did not want to replace it because it is the original top. The car is all original and we do not want to disturb anything. All the body panels are correct, straight and the paint still looks great after all these years. This is a super original Corvette with that hard to find original appearance. With only 69,423 miles this 1986 Pace Car Convertible Corvette is really a one of a kind Survivor. You would be hard pressed to find another. The engine and drivetrain is clean with no grime and is all original. It runs smooth and the car shifts and drives exceptionally well. The body and interior are also original and only show very light normal wear. The tires are new P245/50/ZR16. This Corvette is indeed one to add to your collection. Its original condition is not something you see everyday. It is clearly obvious this car has been well maintained and garaged all its life. We would like to sell this to someone who will continue its legacy. 1: As new condition. Needs nothing mechanically nor cosmetically. 2: Excellent mechanically and cosmetically. Probably has the normal cosmetic wear, but is in very nice clean condition. 3: Does have more noticeable cosmetic flaws, but still has a nice appearance and is a mechanically sound vehicle. 4: May have more than the normal amount of cosmetic flaws and/or need mechanical work, but still is a decent vehicle. 5: Vehicle needs work and/or cosmetics. May run and drive, but has problems. 6: Non operating vehicle. Probably best used for parts. + : Indicates a stronger numerical rating. - : Indicates a lesser numerical rating. This is to be done with one of the following methods: Bank to Bank wire transfer, Credit Card, Paypal, Bank Check or Money Order. Credit Card payments are subject to a 3% processing fee. We will not accept Paypal transfers over $250. Financing is not available at this time. 7)DELIVERY METHODS: A)Door to door shipping is acceptable. There are an endless number of transporters and brokers ready to serve you. We recommend you search the Internet for quotes prior to bidding. We will assist with the delivery any way we can. B)Massachusetts does not issue temporary license plates. So we use this standard procedure for out of state transactions. We ask that the buyer makes full payment on the vehicle. Once payment has been received and cleared, we will overnight mail to you the title and our bill of sale. At this point the buyer can register and acquire plates for pick up. Every State tends to have different laws so please check your state first if this is a concern. C)To Fly-In-Drive-Home, please use Logan Airport, Boston, MA. as the airport of choice. From there take the Logan Express Shuttle to Woburn, MA. This is about a ten minute ride and a courtesy pick up from us is available at that point. 8)Payment is to be received in full and all payment methods must clear before the release of the vehicle and/or any paperwork can be given. 9)Unless agreed upon, the vehicle is to be picked up within (7) days. After (7) days the vehicle will be brought to a storage facility subject to their liens for release. 10)Not concurring with any of the above terms could result in a loss of this sale.
