1967 Datsun Roadster 1600 Convertible SPL311-10301, rust free Texas car, NO RESERVE, Short window, early 67 model with the chrome ring around bezels (some wearing off), clear title, runs and drives good, like new tires, 4 cylinder with manual 4 spd transmission, engine runs great, transmission shifts great, nice red paint, nice interior, overall a nice daily driver. Top is in very nice condition, car comes with the convertible boot as well. The odometer is a 5 digit showing 12k miles. This vehicle is a good classic car that with a little work could become a very nice collectible. This Datsun roadster is fun to drive, all gauges appear to work properly, most chrome is nice and in good to great condition, according to the auctioneer, it had been stored indoors for the last 5 years. There is an aftermarket am fm cassette player installed that works. The carpet is loose by the drivers floor and the driver's interior door handle selectively works, the rubber around the front windshield is cracked, the weatherstripping by the small windows on both sides is cracked, there is a rattle noise coming from the lower part of the exhaust . The lock cylinders for the trunk and the passenger door are missing. This Datsun starts right up and runs good, it is offered with no reserve. The vehicle comes with one ignition key. I do not have the owners manual, etc, it appears to have been registered in the Texas Datsun Roadster club some time in its life, based on the sticker placed on the glovebox. I recently received a call from the garage owner who has worked on this car before. The vehicle had been owned by a travel agency owner who drove the car daily to and from work according to the guy who has serviced it. According to the mechanic shop owner who also has one of these cars himself, they are one of the few garages that work on old Datsuns and he has some service records available for this vehicle as well (I can provide the high bidder with the shop info and the contact number). A deposit of $500 is required within 24 hours of auction expiration via Paypal. Balance is due within 3 business days payable by cash in person, cashiers check, wire transfer.
