1970 Honda SL175Candy Topaz Orange All original 1357 Miles! For sale is all original SL-175 in near mint condition. True mileage 1357 in unrestored original condition a true survivor, I am the second owner. Engine number is 101924, the frame number is 101930, they are rarely the same and this being first year its a plus. Last registered in 1981. Starts right up every time, All original as from the factory including the Bridgestone trail tires(should replace them ). Everything works as it should headlamp high and low, horn, tail light and brakes. This bike is really amazing, even the grips are original . The candy topaz orange paint shines nice, there is some fading and scratches on tank from fuel spillage and just years of storage and front fender has some scratches as sown and some fading on the rear. Not to bad to show there is some minor surface rust on the rear chrome license plate/tail lamp bracket and handlebars as shown in the photo some people would not even bother to mention it, I have another set of bars the new owner gets. The gas tank has a small dent above the key not big and not deep, like a door ding, the speedo face has a crack from when the machine fell over, hence the dent. Since this is a low mileage bike and has been in storage for decades the bike has been serviced through front to rear including new plugs, timing, carbs rebuilt, new fuel lines, filters, condenser, points are original, new battery, new light bulb for the tach, new seat cover, the other was dry and torn, new brake lever, all cables lubed wheels checked, new chain. Gas tank is clean and inspected, oil changed and new now. Engine timed, carbs synced. The only hard items not original are the seat cover, the brake lever and the chain! The bike is awesome and there is nothing negative to say about it, really a fun machine. Will be for sale locally and will sell to the highest bidder online once reserve is met.
