1971 Honda CB

Offering this highly original 1971 CB 750. It is an early 71 model, built in July of 1970. I bought this from a local estate. I have the original bill of sale and a clear Indiana title. The bike had been sitting for many years when I found it. I have rebuilt the front caliper and master cylinder, rebuilt the carbs, replaced all four intake boots and air box boots, the petcock with a new OEM unit. Replaced the points, condensors, spark plugs and caps. I changed the oil and filter too. It has new tires and tubes also in the correct size and tread pattern. The bike comes with three seats. The original seat is in good overall shape with perfect foam but has a split seam. The second seat is about the same. Not perfect, but has a great pan and foam. The seat that is currently on the bike looks great and works fine but is from later bike. The bike still has a HM 341 full original exhaust system that is in excellent shape. All baffles are still in place. The #3 pipe has a 1/4" rust hole but I sourced a brand new original NOS #3 pipe that goes with the deal. This is a turn key bike. The electric start works perfectly. All the turn signals, brake light and headlight all work as designed. I took this bike to vintage days down at Barber Motorsports and it was my primary transportation. I have had it out on the highway at 70 mph with a passenger and it runs nice and strong. No smoking or strange noises. The gas tank has two dents as shown in the pictures but there is ZERO rust inside and never has been. It is super clean inside. Sale includes the complete original tool kit also. Overall, this is a great bike to restore or ride it as it is. It has all the original parts, nice even patina, low miles and runs well. It is matching numbers. The reserve is low.
