This is a 1949 B1B , Dodge pickup truck , it was mostly complete when we received it from our customer .. The engine would not turn over , we removed the head from the engine , and found that water was getting into the engine .. The cylinders are very rusty ... Also we removed the front end , and found that the frame is rusted out on both sides .. Were the front spring hangers are .... It has a few dents and a little rust on the body and bed parts ... But there are a lots of useable parts , that are getting harder to find , these days !! It has a 218 cu.in. , engine .. , with over 95 horsepower , it has a 3.3 in. Bore , and 4.4 in. stroke ... The truck weights around 3100 , lbs ... . And you could buy one new for around $1,250.00 dollars .. The total Dodge Production on these trucks was around 298,399.00 ... This truck is somewhat disassembled , but all the parts can be put back on it or in the cab and bed .... This truck is in good condition , other than the rust ..
