This classic 1955 Bentley R type has been in our family since 1971 and has always lived in a garage. It is two-tone silver/grey with the dark maroon interior. It does have scratches, scrapes, and stains in the paint, some body damage and rust among other things and the leather interior is very worn as is typical with cars of this vintage. Please see the numerous pictures of the exterior and interior of the car. The car appears to in very original condition. It ran and was very drivable the last time we drove it about 5 years ago. As with any car of this vintage it does need restoration work. The chassis number is B277YA as is shown in one of the attached photos and on the current title. This chassis number is correct for a Bentley of this year and type. Included with he car are the original tools and accessories that are shown in the pictures, an owners manual, a service book and various enthusiast publications, as well as some paperwork from the original importation into the USA and some service invoices. You are encouraged to thoroughly inspect the Bentley in person. Please do not ask to have a mechanic inspect the car unless he/she can provide proof of expertise in classic Bentley/Rolls Royce automobiles. Please review the pictures and ask any questions you may have about the condition of the car before bidding. Once the reserve price is bid the "Buy it Now" option will no longer be available.
