Vehicle Detail
If you've been searching for a rust free International Harvestor and keep finding rust buckets that are not even worth saving, this is your chance to begin that sought after Binder Project! Being offered is a recently found 1969 International Scout 800a. It is an original Arizona Scout and has been is this dry climate all it's life. Did I mention that it's rust free! It's super solid...floor boards, rockers, cowl, underside-all in amazing shape and a great start to a restoration. This is an original V8 Scout which makes it very rare and desirable. It has the heavy duty suspension that only V8's had. Unfortunately the motor has been stolen and the Scout has been sitting for many years. The drivetrain is 100% complete with Dana's all away around and a manual tranny. Stick in your IHC 304, 345 or 392 and your golden. You may also want to consider a GM powerplant, which is very popular as well. It is also missing the interior seats as well as the hard top but here in AZ, no need for the top...(tops on ebay go for around $300). The smaller body Scouts are getting increasingly harder to find (without rust) and when you do find one they usually have the 4 or 6 cylinder motors in them. True Scout purists will recognize the significance of this Scout and it won't last long. If it doesn't sell, I will build and and sell it for strong money back on ebay without any issue so, don't miss this opportunity to own the Scout that started it all and is way cooler than an early Bronco!
