Boy Oh boy where to start on this one. This 56 was abandoned 10 to 20 years ago as you see it, was covered with a tarp. will describe to the best of my ability. Car is located about 50 miles Southeast of Dallas TX. Is suppose to have 283 in it. Numbers I found on the block pad is FIOIIDB 1R The fellow at the place was told it had a corvette motor in it. ??? There is a set of original corvette valve covers in the back of it, but I have no clue of what the motor really is. There are parts and pieces all over the place, in a garage and some laying in the back of it and even some in a shed such as the bumpers, Take a look at the photos you are bidding on everything you see. and there is even more than photos show. It has a powerglide tranny in it now, but the original 3 speed is in the shed. has some new weather striping in boxes and window felts. There is just so many parts laying around in piles it is hard to describe. The Bad I see is front floor been replace with galvanized sheeting of some kind. All in All the body/frame is pretty solid just surface rust. 1 front fender has had patches, but the other is in good shape and does never looked to had any kind of repair at all. . as far as the guy can remember the previous owner would start it and back it in and out of the garage. Then one day never came back. that was at least 15 years ago. I have not located the windshield or door windows. but the rear window is there. Take a look at the photos, if it is in the photos your bidding on it, and there is more you do not see. Have a 100% clear Texas title in hand. Will try and answer any questions you may have.
