Vehicle Detail

1996 Chevy Camaro Z28 Convertible - No Reserve Great running car, don't let the high mileage scare you. The engine and transmission were replaced around the 100k mark. Car runs great, no issues with the drivetrain components. This has been my toy this past summer. I have driven the car all this past summer with no major issues. The car does have a few annoyances that could easily be addressed, I just never got around to them. The Bad: - The check engine light comes on every once in a while with an evap code. It does not affect how the car runs at all, it's just an emission code. I clear it with a code reader when it happens. I tried diagnosing it several times, and replaced everything except the charcoal canister, but the code keeps coming back. - The engine coolant level light also comes on even though the level is fine. There are no leaks. I have checked it multiple times and it is always right to the top. The sensor is probably bad. Reading the forums this is a common issue. - Headlight lens broken and the light is out. Left taillight lens cracked. - I had the car painted earlier this year, then of course I accidentally put a 2" scratch in the driver's door the same week. Go figure.... - The fuel gauge is flaky. Sometimes it will stick at 1/2 a tank. I learned that one the hard way. I have read this is common for these cars also. I now fill it up and set the trip meter just to be safe. - Previous owner replaced the factory radio with a Kenwood. The Good: - Overall the car runs great. Drive it anywhere with no worries. I have driven it all summer. - New paint this past summer. - New custom fit front seat covers, however they are a little lighter than the originals. - All new urethane front bushings, however now they squeak after driving a while on bumps. Some WD40 may fix it. - Cold A/C - Convertible top is in perfect shape. No rips or tears. Goes up and down perfectly. Bid to win. No reserve. I had my fun, now it's time for someone else to enjoy! Feel free to ask questions, I will answer asap.
