Vehicle Detail
You are bidding on a 1954 GMC 1/2 ton pickup, with a 1953 Chevy front clip. I originally built this truck for myself and prefer the dash of the GMC cab and in my opinion it has more room as I am 6'4". I like the earlier Chevy front clip (47-53) but I prefer the one piece window of the 54, to me this is the best of both models. The front suspension is a rebuilt 1977 Nova equipped with air bags, drop spindles, and 4 wheel power disc brakes with adjustable portioning valve. . The back of the frame has been custom built with a large notch, 4-link and disc brake posi rear-end from a 1991 IROC Camaro. The engine is a Strong 350 with a TH 350 transmission and power steering. It has been bagged with Slam Airbags, dual Viair compressors, DVR switch box, dual tanks, and 8 Asco valves, no cheap air ride junk. It also has extremely loud train horns with a 1/2 inch valve. Custom built dual exhaust with Flowmasters and custom FLAME THROWERS. The bed floor has lift supports for easy fuel access with a full size spare tire. There is an access light on the bottom side of the bed floor. New interior, new gauges (all gauges work - Fuel, volt meter, oil pressure, water temp, speedometer, and tachometer, as well as turn signal indicators, and high beam indicator). GM tilt column with a 1965 buick steering wheel that has some cracks, but still looks really good. All new smoked glass and rubber seals. AM/FM CD player. All lights work (high beam low beam, turn signals, parking lights, brake lights, dome light, gauge lights, & license plate light). This is a good solid truck. I have personally put over 1000 miles on it with no problems. My wife has driven this truck to local car shows. This is not a slammed together truck it has been built right with all the best parts..... This truck has been built as a driver turn the key and go anywhere.
