1970 CHEVELLE Up for auction is my 1970 Chevelle. I'm selling this car for three reasons. 1) It sits in my garage most of the time. 2) It's too nice to drive and every time I have it out I'm worried about scratching it. 3) My daughter is almost sixteen and she will need the garage space. Almost every nut and bolt on this car has been restored. I bought it this way about four years ago after almost a years search. I was originally looking for a big block but couldn't pass this car up once I saw it and figured I would just put one in it when I got around to it. I never got around to it. It runs too perfect and whoever built it knew what they were doing. My good friend has a big block Camaro and I can easily beat him in a race. The only thing I did to the car is the Foose rims and new tires, window tint and remove the 383 emblems it came with and put 454 badges on it. The only thing wrong with the car is there are two small holes in the fenders (the moon stickers cover them) where the old emblems were. I also changed the springs in the back to make it sit lower. This car is suitable for show and I guess you could race it if you desired. It is very fast. Has posi rear end and tachs around 2800 rpm at 70mph so it is very drivable at highway speeds. Car rides very nice, no noises, squeaks etc. I would not hesitate to drive it anywhere. Even the door buzzer works. Engine is a 383 stroker with Edlebrock aluminum heads, intake, and carb. Cam is not overly aggressive but has that muscle car sound. Flowmasters with "H" pipe. Front disc brakes and front and rear sway bars. Poly bushings pretty much everywhere you look. Paint is very, very nice and the best yellow I have ever seen. If you don't mind people swarming you and taking pictures every time you gas this up or take it out this may be the car for you.
