A styling smash. Owning this car is like having a Trophy wife... everyone looks at you with envy. What a kick to drive. Mechanically this car runs awesome. I love the way it handles, especially in the hairpin turns. When I kick the accelerator to pass, it takes off like a rocket, pushes me way back in the seat and literally jumps like the cat it is. Speaking of cats, there is nothing more beautiful than the purr when she idles or the roar when she passes and all of this while averaging 21 mph city/highway combine. We took this one in from a local client that could not keep up with the country's economy to his beloved toy. She has a "Carnival Red Mica" exterior with "Coffee" color leather interior, red simulated ostrich inserts, finished wood and superb Connolly cowhide make for an inviting interior, not perfect though looks great. Beneath the sloping hood lurks the fourth clean-sheet-design power plant in Jaguars long history, dubbed the AJ-V8. The 4.0-liter/290-horsepower DOHC engine produces a full 80 percent of its 290 pound-feet torque peak from just 1400 rpm. This 90-degree all-aluminum engine creates a feisty character capable of propelling the 3862-pound two-door and a 5-speed automatic transmission. Both the engine and transmission are in good shape. The air conditioning is cold and the tires are in good shape. She features, over sized 22" Lexani alloy and chrome wheels(have some minor damage ), power driver and passenger front seats, driver seat memory, fog lights, exterior temperature display, power locks, windows, mirrors, power tilt and telescopic, leather and wood steering wheel with audio and cruise controls, custom leather upholstery, CD player, front air bags, power convertible top, cruise control, tinted glass, keyless entry, interior trunk and fuel releases, traction control, 4-wheel disc brakes, rear defogger, tachometer, walnut interior accents, power antenna, homelink, owner's manual, glass rear window and more! Buyer please note Suspension has been modified altered, lowered converted, some Squeaks and noises from shocks struts may needs service. ABS system needs service. The car runs good. Hello and thanks for stopping by our, "No Reserve" auction for this 1997 Jaguar XK8, sleek and sultry, convertible sports car. A styling smash. Owning this car is like having a Trophy wife... everyone looks at you with envy. What a kick to drive. Mechanically this car runs awesome. I love the way it handles, especially in the hairpin turns. When I kick the accelerator to pass, it takes off like a rocket, pushes me way back in the seat and literally jumps like the cat it is. Speaking of cats, there is nothing more beautiful than the purr when she idles or the roar when she passes and all of this while averaging 21 mph city/highway combine. We took this one in from a local client that could not keep up with the country's economy to his beloved toy. She has a "Carnival Red Mica" exterior with "Coffee" color leather interior, red simulated ostrich inserts, finished wood and superb Connolly cowhide make for an inviting interior, not perfect though looks great. Beneath the sloping hood lurks the fourth clean-sheet-design power plant in Jaguars long history, dubbed the AJ-V8. The 4.0-liter/290-horsepower DOHC engine produces a full 80 percent of its 290 pound-feet torque peak from just 1400 rpm. This 90-degree all-aluminum engine creates a feisty character capable of propelling the 3862-pound two-door and a 5-speed automatic transmission. Both the engine and transmission are in good shape.
