This is a very solid Alabama car from the Birmingham area where it was purchased new. Absolutely rust free top to bottom I bought this for my daughter's first car with 53K original miles. All original with the exception of an added CD Stereo, an after market aluminum valve cover (to replace the factory plastic one) and added Gremlin X Rally wheels off one of my cars. I installed new belts, hoses, shocks, battery, carburetor, oil pan gasket set, plugs, wires, alternator, water pump, master cylinder, new brakes and hoses, front and rear, transmission fully serviced, new BF Goodrich Radial TA's (about 3K miles on them) and added a complete new exhaust with a Flow Master muffler. I invested about 4k after buying the car, I'll include all the maintenance receipts. As it's a survivor the AC could use recharging (it blows cool but not as cold as it did when I had it originally serviced) and the gas gauge quit working. Again this is an unrestored car, as a daily driver there is always something that can be improved. She has driven it to school and work for two and a half years and we've never had a problem, I would drive the car anywhere in the US and feel safe about getting there.
