This classic 1955 Bentley R type has been in our family since around 1971 and has always lived in a garage. It is two-tone silver/grey with the dark maroon interior. It does have scratches, scrapes, and stains in the paint, some body damage and rust among other things and the leather interior is very worn as is typical with cars of this vintage. Please see the numerous pictures of the exterior and interior of the car. The car appears to in very original condition. It ran and was very drivable the last time we drove it about 5 years ago. As with any car of this vintage it does need restoration work. You are encouraged to thoroughly inspect the Bentley in person. Please do not ask to have a mechanic inspect the car unless he/she can provide proof of expertise in classic Bentley/Rolls Royce automobiles. Please review the pictures and ask any questions you may have about the condition of the car before bidding. The Bentley is sold AS IS with no warranty. The Bentley's chassis number is B277YA as is shown on the plate in the engine compartment. This is also the number shown on the title as the VIN number. Please see the picture below. The 'A" is hard to see, but if you zoom in on the picture it will become visible. I have looked very closely at this identification plate and can positively confirm that it has all of the numbers and letters stamped into it.
