2001 Saab 9-5 I have owned since 2004. I have added many performance modifications and it has been an excellent fun car to own. The car is mechanically in good condition. The engine is from a 2005 Saab 9-5 as my original engine suffered from sludge damage. The engine has approx. 100K miles on it as it was installed with 80K. The engine was installed by Swedish Motors of Pawtucket, RI and a compression test and new head gasket was installed prior to installation. The engine internals are flawless and there is zero evidence of sludge as the newer motors have revised CVS setup. Overall this is a good car and will last for many years if it is take care it. Overall the car is great, smooth and strait on the HWY, very fast (260hp). Saab’s are not Japanese cars and if they are not serviced, they will not last long. Tires 40%-70% life left Brakes Front pads are Hawk and like new/Rear need replacement soon as well as new brake fluid Oil is always changes with synthetic and was just changed Transmission Is original and shift perfect. There is a small leak and I believe it is coming from the transmission cooler line. Suspension components are all fine Koni/Eibach Electrical Fine, some minor issues (Quick fixes), The AC compressor stopped working and a new/used one needs to be installed. The exterior is in good condition, scratches some small dings etc. I have started to buff it out and it will still needs some attention to the trim and a final buffing with shine wax. Keep in mind this is not a new car and it has always had repairs done as needed. Feel free to ask question!!!!! 2001 Saab 9-5 I have owned since 2004.
