Vehicle Detail

Thanks for looking at my 1975 Porsche 911s with a Turbo 3.3ltr engine that was professionally rebuilt by Farmer Porsche (http://www.farmersautomotive.com/) in 2007. The rebuild of the engine alone cost me $12,000 (I have receipts). The car is in good running condition, but I no longer drive the car, and it is in storage. My wife would prefer an American Muscle car, so I will sell this car. I have owned this vehicle since 2006 and have put a total of 4,000 miles on it since then. The car is a lot of fun to drive.. as you know if you have driven a Porsche 911 Turbo. The car is for sale as is without any warranty or guarantee. Shipping is fully the responsibility of the buyer. You can feel free to inspect the vehicle or have it inspected by a 3rd party company. Contact me to arrange. I will do my best to provide factual details on this vehicle: Engine - 3.3 ltr flat 6 engine professionally rebuilt in 2007 by Bob Farmer at Farmer Porsche (http://www.farmersautomotive.com/) of Indianapolis, IN. Runs strong. Dyno at time of rebuild showed 375hp at the flywheel/PTO. Turbo was replaced at rebuild and is very strong. Clutch was also replaced with heavy duty model at time of rebuild and is in good working condition. Engine runs well, but as all air-cooled Porsches, it burns and leaks a little oil. Transmission - 915 model 5 speed transmission - 1st gear and 3rd gear synchros could use replacement, but the car drives and shifts good Tires and Suspension - tires are Yokohamas... not new, but still a lot of tread and life. Suspension is good.. no sagging or noises. Rims are solid, but the chrome is flaking Body - straight and true, however, it could use a going over. The paint is dull and there are many chips and cracks in the paint. If I were to keep the car, I would have it refreshed. Driver's side headlight motor is burned and will need replacement Interior - leather seating is good. Driver's seat cushion (the support, not the leather) could be replaced. Dash is OK, but with a crack or two. Wood inlay on the dash is aging, but OK. Wood steering wheel is good. All gauges are working. Blaupunkt stereo w/ CD player is good, as are the Infinity door speakers. Overall I would say that this is a good car that (once I had the engine redone) has been a joy to drive and inexpensive to maintain. I would have the car painted and put new rims (or recondition the ones that are on it) on and this car would be very nice. Email me with any questions you may have and happy bidding!
