Vehicle Detail

The car is a nice 10 footer that you can enjoy as a driver right away - it is not a 100 point restoration. The original 273 engine has been replaced with a similar era 318. Upon close inspection there is fiberglass in the rockers and fenders, the paint has scratches. The drivers door hinges are getting a little tired. The power steering squeals on hard, very slow turns. Dash lights do not work. There is evidence of an accident in it's past. For all it's issues- the car starts, and runs great and is fun to drive. The interior was replaced 8 years ago and still looks fresh. The power top still works, but there are several tears in the top- if allowed to sit out in the rain, it will leak, but I always had it garaged with the top down, ready to enjoy it on our rare sunny days. Even the original radio still works- AM only. Has power steering, but standard brakes. This car would be best for somebody that wants an immediate driver and not a car to restore. You can find a junk car for much cheaper price so as not to incur a high stating price of a restoration- I feel my car is best to be driven now and driven with just normal loving care and then sometime down the road a restoration could be in order. The engine is getting a little tired and could use a little refreshing- It will smoke some especially after sitting for extended periods of time without starting. I bought the car with the engine as it is now, but I believe the crank pulley is not correct as it has a slight wobble, but it has never given me any problem except to feel a slight rhythmic vibration when the car is driven. On Sep-27-13 at 16:14:02 PDT, seller added the following information: I have added some pictures of the under side= in true 60's fashion the car has been undercoated - sorry best I could do without putting the car up in the airOn Sep-27-13 at 16:28:27 PDT, seller added the following information: The yellow dots in the last picture is from driving over a freshly painted road marking - they are not rust spots
