**I have no financial interest in this transaction** 1982 BMW 320i being sold on behalf of family friends. The car was purchased new here in Portland Oregon by the now deceased owner. The car has always been stored inside. Oregon does not use road salt. I have the complete maintenance file on the car. It starts with original sales invoice and ends with the battery I bought a couple of weeks ago. Since the owner's passing a few years ago, the car has been stored indoors and used once or twice a year when the family flys in, and drives to a vacation home they still own in Oregon. The engine is in good condition. It is mechanically quiet, and does not smoke. Since coming out of the most recent storage it does not idle well. I believe it is caused by old fuel. The transmission shifts well, clutch feels good. Tires are nearly new. The A/C is inop. The paint is very nice. I can tell it has been repainted. I suspect because the metallic paint failed, as it all did back then. I can find no evidence of repaired collision damage. There are three areas of very small bubbles under the paint (see photos) near trim. I can find no rust of any consquence on the car. The windows work well, as does the manual sunroof. The interior is original. There are no dash cracks. The drivers seat bottom needs to be re-stuffed. 50 Photos HERE Overall, this is a very well cared for 31 year old car.
