There were only 135 manual transmissions made. The limited slip is a $2,000 feature that you won’t find anywhere else. The engine block from the OEM is a 4.0L but the original blocks had cylinder lining issue. The block in this vehicle has been upgraded to a 4.4L block from a 1998 BMW 740. If you know much about these vehicles, you will understand why the block was update. The engine computer has an update chip for extra power and torque. All the work was done by BMW specialist. The EDC system has been eliminated and replaced with Bilstein HD shocks and H&R Lowering Springs. 18x8.5 wheels in the front, 18x9.5 in the back. Tires: 235/40R18 in the front, 265/35R18 in the rear. Rear tires have over 80% tread remaining and front tires are practically brand new. The car is RUST FREE. It is mostly driven in the summers as a second car. The front control arms and strut bushings were replaced about 10-15k miles ago. The valve cover gasket, thermostat, clutch assembly and radiator were replaced around about 10-15k miles ago. The car drives great with no issues. Very smooth ride. The engine runs nice, without any idling issues. The trans shifts great, no grinding of any sort. The car has been adult driven for the last 5+ years. Never had any over heating issues. The A/C blows cold. All electronics work as expected.
