Vehicle Detail

You are viewing a solid, running and driving 1963 Chevy Truck. This vehicle went through an extensive restoration about 18 years ago by a licensed automotive school. I purchased the vehicle from a local new car dealership 5 years after the work was done, so it’s been in my possession for the last 13 years . Although it has only seen 31000 miles since the work was done, time has taken its toll on the paint (and other detail work) and will need a new paint job. The interior still shows very nice driver quality. As you can see in the pictures I recently installed a brand new oak wood bed using stainless steel bed strips. In addition, it offers a nice set of reverse chrome style wheels, and Liberator tires. When the vehicle was originally restored it was upgraded with an after market air conditioning system. This vehicle is equipped with a 1963 - 327 (250hp) V8 engine, Turbo 350 automatic transmission, power steering, touchy power brakes (drum), AM/FM stereo with detachable face plate, electric wipers, heat / AC, and quiet dual exhaust. For the exception of the rare factory dash tachometer, all gauges are in good working order. A new wiring harness was installed during the original restoration project In addition to the items already noted, I recently installed a new alternator, voltage regulator, rear brake shoes,, master cylinder, carburetor kit, new gas tank and sending unit, tail light lenses, parking light lenses, tailgate chains/covers, and repainted (F&R) bumpers and grill. I also added “Jack Daniel” door decals to give it that nostalgic look while awaiting a new paint job -- this got a lot of attention at the last Good-Guys car show. The decals can be removed if needed.. I have never experienced any over heating problems nor roadside issues with this vehicle. Again, the truck runs down the road very nice. I recently drove the vehicle on a 3 hour road trip with no problems whatsoever. It was driven on the track at Texas Motor during a Good-Guys car show. I will include a nice picture of the truck on the track as part of the sale. Please be aware that some photos can be very deceiving so I want you to be advised that this is not a perfect show vehicle and will require some cosmetic restoration. This includes, exterior, interior and under hood items. Other than some minor bubbling in need of repair located on the lower front fenders (as shown in the picture) this is a very solid truck with solid panels and floor pans. The noted area can be easily fixed when prepped for a new coat of paint. If you need any additional information or would like to stop by for a visit please don’t hesitate to ask. Please understand that if you stop by for a test drive I will not tolerate any hot-rodders or tire kickers as this vehicle has never been treated that way while in my possession. I must add that this vehicle comes with no warrantees or guarantees expressed or implied. Once we complete the transaction the sale is final. I have a clear Texas title in hand! Happy Ebaying!
