1957 Studebaker Parkview 2-Door Wagon - 259 V8 - Auto - P/S - A/C Here is your chance at a very Original 1957 Studebaker Parkview w/ Visor! Car is not a frame off restoration and has had only 3 total owners. This car was purchased by my Dad who purchased it directly from the original owner. Original owner was the wife of Studebaker Dealership owner in Brawley, CA back in the 1950s! This fantastic car runs and we drive it on a VERY limited basis for maintenance purposes or the local car show. We have almost all of the original paperwork, instruction manuals, and so on. Here is what is newly restored on the car - New B.F.G White Wall Tires, Interior Carpet, Seats, Door Panels in Front, Brakes Completely and Master Cylinder, Water Pump, Battery, Shocks and we have the receipts! Some items do need repair - A/C, Radio, Wipers, Heater, Two Chrome Pieces on Tail Gate, and the Speedometer stuck at 52,563 miles. Since that time we have tracked the mileage at approximately 150 miles additional - that's it! Fire Wall Tag is 57B-D4-58 and VIN is 8460726 from Studebaker Corp. We do have a video also available showing the car being driven. It was simply too large to put on here. I am working on that but can make it available to interested parties! I had a great question regarding the A/C as to when it was installed and so on. I added a picture including the original receipt and the manufacturer info as well. If you zoom in you can see it was installed on August 19th, 1959. It is a Mark IV AC unit manufactured by John E, Mitchell Company based out of Dallas.
