1961 Lincoln convertible. Purchased from an estate, this car was in storage for almost 20 years. It was represented to me, by the former owners friend, that the miles are actual but I cannot verify. Beautful black leather interior is in remarkable condition with leather soft and flexible and seat padding soft and firm. Dash and pad are near perfect. Carpet is new but the rest of the interior is original and very nice. Body is sound with some very light rust in isolated spots (see photos) but no rust-through anywhere on car. Right quarter appears to have had some body work done above the rear wheel. Car has been repainted it's original white but paint is a ten footer or a nice driver. Grille is perfect. Brightwork all in good condition. Tailight will be replaced before end of auction. Car runs, drives and shifts very well and could be driven anywhere with a new set of tires. Brake system has been overhauled. Fluids changed and fuel system cleaned. All lights and electrical components work correctly including all power windows and power seat. Radio, heater, speedometer, wipers and all gauges work correctly. Power top and trunk lift work correctly. Vacumn power locks do not work. Top is original and probably will need to be replaced in the future. Car is located in Austin, Mn. and available for a test drive anytime during the auction. If you cannot inspect before end of auction the buyer, after paying deposit via paypal, will have ten days to inspect and pay for the car. If the buyer upon inspection does not want the car for any reason one-half of his deposit will be refunded. I will assist in locating shipping for the buyer if needed.
