This is a 1988 Ford Mustang LX 5.0 5 speed. This car has been off the road and been sitting for a few years . It does however start right up and seem to run well. The odometer says 49381 although i would assume its over 100k miles . The interior is leather but the seats are in poor shape as seen in the pics. The drivers seat is loose , I am not quite sure if its the seat track or seat mounting. It does have a aftermarket radio installed. The body of the car is in fair shape and has rust in the usual places the foxbodys have. The trunk is solid , it has some rust on the rear quarters and the doors on both sides. The paint clearcoat is peeling in spots also. The convertible top is like new and was replaced when the car was taken off the road a few years back. Overall the car has its bumps and bruises but still looks decent. The wheels are Cobra "R" style wheels and will need tires on at least two of the wheels. The engine runs well with no smoke or knocks. It has a set of MAC shorty headers and BBK high flow converter h-pipe. The mufflers are 40 series flowmaster . The exhaust sounds good with no leaks. The tranmission shifts well and the clutch feels tight (previous owner said it was replaced before it was taken off the road also). I do know it will need a heater core replacement I noticed vapor from the heater vents. The car is a great project car or a good car for a donor for a swap.
