Vehicle Detail

I am reluctantly selling my Special Edition 2010 R1200GS Adventure. It is top of the line, equipped with ABS (anti-lock brakes), ESC (electronic suspension control), heated and grips, trip computer, and it has a modest 12.5K miles. The bike was purchased new from Morton's BMW in Fredericksburg, Virginia in October 2010, and is wearing her second pair of tires that are still in excellent. It has never been off road and has a scuff on the auxiliary engine guard that's to a tip over in the driver at the hands of the first owner. I am selling the bike (which I purchased in December, 2012 from my friend and original owner, an attorney) because I have recently moved to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and in addition to the pitiful roads down here, the drivers are equally as pitiful! I saw the original bill of sale and the bike left the dealership for just over $26,000 when purchased new.... then numerous extras were added. Bike was garage kept and pampered. Some of the extras include: Heated Hand GripsExpedition side bagsExpedition tail trunkBag liners (fit inside side bags and tail trunk)Stainless Tail pipe extension Auxiliary tubular engine guards (in addition to ADV large guard and cylinder head covers)Throttle lock (some folks call it cruise control but it really isn't)BMW GPSPotentiometer coverMetal mesh oil cooler coverOversized V-stream clear windshieldExtended metal rear tire mudguardBMW GS tankbag(2) Rigid Industries D2 LED high intensity (to be read as very very bright) yellow driving lights wired to the OEM auxiliary lights (about $360 bucks before wiring, switch and installation)(2) Rigid Industries D2 LED even higher intensity white driving lights (another $360 bucks before wiring, switch and installation)LED auxiliary brake lightsExtra BMW outletGerbring electric clothing connector (pigtail) wired under the drivers seatAll manuals and service history book. All wiring done by the staff at Morton's, so you know it was done right. No hatchet job here. Just had it's 12,000 mile service at Champion BMW in Charleston to the tune of $500 bucks. I also have s Sergeant's gel seat (two piece), and a Gerbing electric jacket if the Buy It Now feature is used. That's $1000 bucks worth of extra stuff!) I can also bring (that means ride) the bike to the Charlotte, Atlanta or Washington DC areas, but ask before you bid. There is nothing wrong with this bike, just the area I live in to ride it. You can easily ride it home, regardless of where you live.On Sep-18-13 at 20:50:29 PDT, seller added the following information:The bike also has several items that I failed to list including ASC (traction control), handlebar risers (also moves the bars back for a more relaxed position, backrest pad on tail trunk, enlarged side stand pad, and others I am forgetting about, such as the BMW alarm system. It does NOT, however, have the tire pressure monitoring system. Thanks for looking.
