NO RESERVE!!!!!!! 1963 Chevy Corvair Monza convertible with factory air conditioning. Red on red all original. Everything is there, original engine, trans, body is straight southern california car so there's no rust. The power top works fine, I haven't had time to play around with the ac but everything is there. Car is currently not running, the car has been sitting a while and tags are over due. I did install a new battery and cranked the engine it turns on. Great for restoration piece or just some tlc and elbow grease and you have a cool classic convertible cruiser. I have the transfer of title paper work because I did not pay the fee's myself when I got the vehicle but went to the dmv to verify it is ok to sell. The car did run I ran it around the block up to the speed of 30 mph. The tires were installed years ago and it has been sitting for years so the rubber on the tires starting to dry crack from southern california weather. So for safety reasons I put not running but new set of tires and yes it runs. The carbs also need adjusting so the idleing is perfect, idles high at times, drops low when driving thats were the elbow grease part comes in. Hope that answers your questions.On Sep-18-13 at 11:22:49 PDT, seller added the following information: To answer other questions I've been asked a few times the car does not have bondo those are paint chips, the guages all work the radio works the power top works, electrial looks good the wiring is not corroding. The back tail light is broken and I believe it burned out the fuse to the lights, a new tail light is 20 here on ebay a fuse go to pep boys get a pack of them for less then 5 bucks. The ac does kick out air, I have not done anything to the ac it should be serviced obviously the car has been sitting for quite a while and may reequire freon or whatever. The car is 50 years old so no warranty, but its a chevy a american car you can find parts for it all over the place and for decent prices. Hope that helps you guys out.
