Relisted due to non-paying buyer. Thank you Hutchfarmer from Wichita for not having the money to pay. I don't undestand why people do that. Please do not bid if you don't have the money. 1959 Chevy Impala fresh from storage since 1983. 283 runs perfectly. Compression checked all between 130 and 145. No smoke, knocks or leaks. Starts instantly. Munice 4 speed shifts correctly with no wines or snycronizer grinds. Clutch operates properly. Brakes and parking brake work. Seats were recovered and stored in house and are as fresh as new. Headliner has one seam opening. Car drives and stops and but is not roadable because tires are old and not road worthly. Keystone mag wheels with Mickey Thompson cheater slicks on the rear. Body is in good condition, doors, trunk lid and hood align correctly and close nicely. Inner rockers and stringer will need replacement along with rear wheel archs if restoration is done. Floor needs some work but replacement not required. Nickle size rust through on trunk lip., Trunk floor and extensions are perfect. Car does need to be painted but very solid except as stated. Exhaust is solid. Car is complete except one window crank, some impala letters, a piece of rear seat trim, and outside mirror.. Windows crank up and down. Glass good except front passenger window is cracked. Windshield has three light wiper marks and right side. Car is located in Austin, Mn and available for inspection before end of auction. If you choose to purchase and then inspect, pay the $1000. dollar deposit via paypal within 24 hour of auction close. Inspect and pay within 10 days of close of auction. If you do not want the car after inspection you may walk-away from the deal. One-half of the deposit will be refunded.
