1959 Morris J2 truck "pickup" commercial. A rare sight in the UK and very rare in the U.S. This is a left hand drive truck. It was in Washington state since at least 1963. I don't know if it came via Canada or was an original U.S. delivery. I have the WA state title and the early WA license plate is still on it. Most of these were vans, ambulances, and such. Not too many open trucks, and of those most were Austin not Morris. The engine and transmission appear to be original and appear to be simple MGA like units. It is complete, with the exception of one wheel is wrong and the rear lens are broken. It is a full restoration project. There was a deal in the works about six years ago to send it back to the UK, but the guy never followed through and so I bought it a couple of years ago. I have two projects in front of it so if someone wants to have a run at it, here you go. It is very rusty but savable. I was going to acid tank it and then do the metal replacement. Its unibody, which is interesting. The panels are very simple, so it can be done. There really isn't much else to the thing other than the body work. No chrome, very simple interior, and the drive train is easy. The photos are from Paul's place in WA where I bought it. If you want any specific photo now, let me know and I will get it for you.
