Hello everyone.. I've decided to put my car up for auction on eBay because I need a truck. I am starting a new job that requires me to have a truck and to carry a ladder. This is my daily driver, so the mileage stated may be about 400 or 500 more than what is listed. I also have the car for sale locally on craigslist so I reserve the right to cancel the auction early if someone offers me an amount that I am willing to accept. I am taking a gamble and listing this as a NO RESERVE style auction. The car retails at $6500 and trade in is around $3500, although neither of those prices include any extra value the aftermarket wheels might add. I don't have time to set a reserve price and hope I get what I want out of it because I really need a truck for my new job.. so I'll accept whatever price it sells for. I purchased this car in September of 2012 with 172,000 miles and I've had no issues with it's performance. When I bought the car, the headlights did not work.. so I had them fixed for $970 at Plaza BMW in St. Louis, Mo. I also fixed a few other things.. I had an alignment done, and in order to get it to pass inspection, I replaced all brake line hoses, new ball joints and control arms, and the engine belt. I put close to $3000 in repairs into this car and I'm sad to have to sell it. It's got a ton of power and it is a very smooth riding car.. tons of luxury options. I have receipts for all the work that I've done to the car. It's also got a brand new battery. I made a 25 minute video that I will put on Youtube to show the performance of the car along with all the imperfections. I'm trying to be as honest as possible for the buyer. This is the first car I've ever sold on eBay, but I figured an auction is the best way to sell it. Not many people in my area drive BMW's so it won't sell very quickly around here.
