1976 HONDA CB750F SUPER SPORTVIN# CB750F2014016THIS BIKE HAS BEEN STORED IN MY FATHER IN LAWS GARAGE FOR 25 YEARS THE LAST TIME HE REGISTERED IT WAS 1994, SO IT IS OUT OF THE DMV SYSTEM. I CALLED DMV AND IT WILL HAVE TO BE PUT BACK INTO THE SYSTEM AND REGISTERED FROM SCRATCH.I CLEANED THE BIKE UP SOME, BOUGHT A NEW BATTERY AND IT FIRES UP WITH KICK START. I ALSO CLEANED THE CARBURETOR AND THE INSIDE OF THE FUEL TANK THE BEST THAT I COULD. I REMOVED THE FAIRINGS BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT IN THE BEST LOOKING SHAPE, BUT WILL COME WITH THE BIKE. THE HEADLIGHT IS ATTACHED TO THE FRONT FAIRING. THERE IS RUST AROUND THE BIKE, THE SEAT HAS TEARS, THE RIGHT BACK SIGNAL IS NOT WORKING...YOU WILL HAVE TO CHECK ON WIRING AND MAKING SURE EVERYTHING IS PROPERLY CONNECTED TO LIGHTS. SOME OF THE LENS' ON THE FAIRINGS ARE BROKEN, IF YOU WERE GOING TO USE THE FAIRINGS YOU WOULD HAVE TO REPLACE LENS', BUT THAT IS A CHEAP AND EASY FIX. OVERALL THIS IS A GREAT PROJECT BIKE, THAT WILL FIRE RIGHT UP. IT NEEDS SOME TLC BUT COULD BE AN AWESOME COLLECTORS' BIKE!!!FEEL FREE TO ASK QUESTIONS. SEE PICS FOR MORE DETAILS! I just wanted to explain and if you need further clarification you can call the DMV. The California DMV said that the bike would need to be brought in to them and a form REG 343 filled out for a new title. The bike is no longer in their system. It is not registered or titled in anyones name. To them, it does not exist. If you have any more questions, please feel free to ask or if you feel more comfortable you can call the DMV and give them the VIN number. They can explain what would need to be done. Over all it is pretty simple, bring the bike in to them and fill out a form to register and get a new title. Thats all it would take.
