Unfortunately a non US/Canadian bidder got the high bid and would not agree to the payment terms of Bank Cashier's check or cash, So, we will try again. I apologize for the redundancy. This is a 1966 SAAB 96 purchased in 2008 with (as far as I know) 60,137 miles on it. It currently has 60,310 miles. (No, I didn't drive it much.) I did a lot of "rehab" so that I could use the car but no real "restoration". All seats and door panels were redone. Brake lines replaced with stainless steel lines. Hand brake cable replaced. CV axles rebuilt. Electric fuel pump installed mounted under rear seat near tank. Has a manual switch installed under dash. Door window seals replaced. Rubber rear deck seal replaced. Carbs rebuilt and all gaskets replaced. Wiring "fixed" so that all electrics work including the clock. Horn and relay replaced with loud hellar horns. Wheels sand-blasted and repainted. New tires. Petronix ignition and Bosch Blue coil installed. Drives well, free wheeling works as it should. Full documentation included as well as a service manual, original owners manual and other documents and pictures. Have many extra parts including a Sonnett windshield, rear window and transmission.Can email additional or specific photos on request.Cashier checks must clear before vehicle is picked up.
