1999 Chevy S10 Extended Cab Stepside Texas Truck – Totally Rust Free – Beautiful Original Condition Please Note: I am not the owner of this truck. The owner of this great truck has retired, sold his home, put most of his stuff in storage and is RV’ing his way south and west to find a warmer winter climate to call home. I’m just trying to help out by selling this truck for him. I have bought and sold quite a number of items on eBay, including cars and trucks, and my 100% positive rating is very important to me, so I will do all that I can to describe this truck completely and accurately. The present owner acquired the truck from his brother-in-law in Texas in 2011, where it had spent its entire previous life. It is now in W Jefferson, Ohio, which is just west of Columbus. General Description and Factory Options – · Extended Cab with Stepside Bed · Two Wheel Drive · 4.3 Liter V6 engine and 4L60 overdrive automatic transmission · Power Windows · Power and Heater Mirrors · Power Door Locks and Two Remotes · Power Steering · Power Anti-Lock Brakes · Cruise Control · Aluminum Wheels · Full Size Spare (more tire info later) · Tilt Steering Wheel · 113,400 miles, and to the best of our knowledge, always adult owned and driven. Body and Paint – Because it spent all but two years of its life in Texas, the truck is completely and totally rust-free which is a huge bonus for us in the Mid-West, and also, is all original paint. We will not pretend that the vehicle is flawless because it has several tiny door dings, chips and scrapes which you would find if you got close enough, but you really need to be searching. It must have been garaged most of its life because the paint shines like new, and most of the tiny chips have been touched up with matching paint and a toothpick. The bed has been sprayed with Rhino-liner or something similar. It is a slightly soft, tough, high friction coating that looks just great. Items in the bed don’t slide around like with a hard liner. Interior and Glass – Nobody ever put their full weight down on these seats. They are firm like new and completely free of wear and tear. No rips, holes, burns or stains on any fabric or carpeting. There is no evidence of the vehicle ever having been smoked in. The lighter looks unused. All glass is perfect. Everything works, just like new. Tires – (4) Hankook Optima H724 P225/75R-15 – Purchased from Discount Tire on 2/26/11 @ 93,011 miles. Includes replacement warranty and lifetime spin balancing and repairs. Tires – (2) Goodyear Wrangler P235/75R-15 – Purchased from Discount Tire on 11/5/12 @ 103,053 miles. Same warranty as above. Great for winter use. Also, the spare underneath is on a full diameter wheel. The tires ride smooth as silk and have no cupping or uneven wear patterns. The vehicle tracks straight as a string. Engine/Drivetrain – The engine is as smooth running and quiet as a new car. The current owner is a retired Air Force flight engineer and is extremely particular about the care and maintenance of his vehicles. He has used full synthetic lubricants exclusively. The following is a list of items which have been replaced or upgraded in the last two years: · New air conditioning compressor, condenser, expansion valve and receiver. · New water pump. · New serpentine belt and tension pulley assembly. · New alternator. · New O2 sensors. · Conversion to multi-point fuel injection. · New EGR valve. · New plugs, cap, etc. · New idler arm. · Transmission cooler added. · CB radio added. · Class 3 hitch & 6 pin power plug added. · Tonneau cover added. · Ravelco anti-theft system (simple 16 pin design – Google it – pretty interesting) Receipts and documentation for most of the above come with the truck, including the 2011 Texas emissions certification. Note about the trailer hitch: This was added by the current owner and was used with small utility trailers to haul his motorcycle or mower occasionally. No heavy hauling was ever done with this truck.
