Vehicle Detail
What you are looking at is the very last truly full sized, rear wheel drive Cadillac made. 1996 was the final year for the Fleetwood, and the final year of an entire generation of Cadillacs. This car has the legendary LT1 350 cubic inch V-8 power plant, coupled with the 4L60-E transmission. This car has a 2.93 gear ration in the rear axle, which is standard on the Brougham trim level. I have owned this car for the past 7 years. I have never used this car for general transportation, only as a show piece. The body is 100% rust free and although I live in the "Salt Belt", This car has been stored indoors under a cover every winter since I have owned it. I have averaged about 1,000 to 2,000 miles per year on it over the last few years. This car has all available options exept the trailer tow package, and sunroof. About 4 years ago, I replaced all 4 wheels and tires on this car. The previous wheels were slightly corroded, and had some curb rash from the previous owner. The new wheels are a set of factory Cadillac wheels, which were professionally chrome-plated. I got a hold of a set of 4 NOS center caps for these wheels, and added some Sigma Shadow 1.3" wide whitewall tires. I invested over $2000 in this wheel and tire combo alone. These wheels and tires have about 5,000 miles on them. The Vinyl roof and dash pad are crack free, and as new. The drivers seat has a small quarter-sized tear in it which was "repaired" by the previous owner. It is still visible but will not spread. The remaining seats are tear free. All of the leather and vinyl on this car has been conditioned on a regular basis since I have owned it. This car has the factory dual stainless exhaust, which is in good condition. The car runs and drives excellent. There is a very small oil leak seemingly coming from around the oil pan. It is not enough to worry about topping off very often, just enough to leave some drips on the garage floor. There is also an issue which I have trouble shot to be the traction control unit, which causes the car to occasionally turn on the ABS and TRAC CONTROL lights. When the warning lights are not on these systems function normally.. Should be an easy fix if you can find the part. There is no Check Engine light on, nor have I seen once since I've owned it. This car is sold as-is, where is. Buyer is responsible for shipping. Thanks for looking! Please enjoy the high resolution photos of this car below:
