1929 Deluxe Model A Ford NO RESERVE AUCTION This car is fun to drive, it will run down the freeway or cruise downtown with ease. The engine starts easily and runs strong, the transmission shifts smoothly between gears including reverse. It's especially good at normal driving speeds and it really gets noticed, lots of smiles and waves. This is a Ford factory authorized reproduction sold by Ford dealerships and built by Shay Motors. This particular car was built in 1980 and has only 35,500 miles on it and is registered as a 1929 Ford. The frame, rack and pinion steering, disc brakes and suspension are typical of what you would find in a 1980 Ford and it is easy to find replacement parts. The engine is a 4 cylinder 2.3L (140 cubic inches) and the transmission is a Ford C3 automatic. The body is a one-piece fiberglass roadster. Doors and rumble seat open and close easily, the windshield tilts out at the bottom and the top is simple to remove/install. The interior has ample room and comfortable seats, the rumble seat is somewhat limited on leg room. There are seat belts for four passengers. The grill and bumpers shine very nicely. The Cooper tires have lots of tread remaining, there are no vibrations or shimmy while driving and brakes stop straight and smooth. The paint has some wear from the typical parking lot dings and the gas gauge does not work.
