Up for sale is my recently refreshed 1977 Gl1000. Work Done: Cleaned and installed GL1100 carbs Front Master Cylinder rebuilt Replaced Fuel Pump Installed Used Exhaust (1978 model) Cleaned and Adjusted Points/Timing Corbin Gentry seat in good/very good condition neutral switch replaced New Parts: Front Kenda Tire Rear Dunlop D404 Tire New Fuel Lines New Speedo Cable New Choke Cable New Tach Cable New Throttle Cables (push/pull) New Headlight New Front Brake Pads Full Spectra Blue Metallic Paint Job with Silver pinstripes and period correct side cover and tank "gl1000" decal Bike is ready to ride, no major issues noted with handling, engine or brakes. Actual Mileage unknown, (the GL1000 odometer only goes to five figures, could be only 24K, or indeed 124k) last known reading was 124K miles as recorded on title. Compression is ~150 psi on all cylinders. Oil pressure is good. Chrome is serviceable, with the front fender being the worst (pitting and flaking on lower "mudguard" section, spotting elsewhere. Remainder of chrome is 1977/78 vintage, and has "patina" but no major issues. Clean/Notarized AZ title in hand, ready for new owner.
