I'm listing this for a friend. Here is a 1936 Ford Deluxe 2 dr sedan. The car had an amatuer restoration about 10 years ago. This 36 Ford was originally a Demonstrator car. I think it had just about every option that you could get in 36. Before it was restored it had, Radio (which works on 2 stations ), Dual wipers(needs blades), Manifold heater, Foglights, Front grill guard, Spare tire lock and cover, Locking gas cap, Vanity mirror, and a sport light or spot light. ( THE MANIFOLD HEATER AND SPORTLIGHT WERE REMOVED and unfortunatly have been discarded) It also has the original 36 LB engine with inseret bearings ( which has been completely rebuilt with all new bearings,rings, camshaft replaced ,new adjustable lifters, New Melling Mercury oil pump, New Stromberg Carburator, New water pumps and fuel pump. ) Also has a new clutch. The differential has the optional 3.54 gears which lets the car cruise down the road at lower RPM. Brakes have been replaced and has had the brake floater kit installed which make those mechanicals work MUCH better ! The original 36 steering box was removed in favor of a 37 model which was professionally rebuilt and makes the car steer much better almost like power steering, New kingpins where installed too . Also New Coker 600-16 wide whitewall radial tires. Speedo was rebuilt thats why it's listed as having 358 miles which is very close to what it has since it was restored. All wiring was replaced too. Like I said earlier the Car was a Demonstrator . Well the car was a powder blue over the origianl dark blue. There was a big V8 painted on both doors and the name of a dealer. Unfortunately this was not documented but it was there. The paint, body work and interior is pretty decent but not perfect makes a great car that you can drive and not have to hold your breath about someone scratching it. Also the running boards are New from Drakes. Some of the glass needs replaced passenger side door glass has a crack and the back side ones are kinda fogged but useable. The car drives, very well for a 36 Ford the only trouble he has had with the car is vapor locking and I think this was just because it had a dirty fuel filter back by the gas tank. So I guess thats about it, if you want you can call Ken at 785- 267-4324 and he can tell ya more. Oh I did forget one thing the car has headers and dual exhaust which makes a real sweet sound.
