I need to thin out my collection. I have owned this E-type for over 12 years, and keep it in a heated / climate controlled showroom, and driven regularly. This car runs and drives great. The engine and transmission were professionally rebuilt about 5,000 miles ago before I acquired it, although the valves could use adjusting.. The body has great quality paint, with no known rust. The chrome is very presentable, and the interior is also nice as you can see from the photos. The engine compartment needs detailing for use as a show car. The original knock off wire wheels are all in great shape. Some rubber body seals are excellent or new, while others would need updating for show quality. The convertible top is excellent. This is a beautiful, driver quality car.On Jul-12-13 at 10:43:08 PDT, seller added the following information: I want to mention that investigating further, I think the engine block might have been replaced, as the numbers do not match the tag. I was told it was professionally overhauled before I bought it, and as I wanted a good looking driver, I never even looked or cared (till now).
