Up for sale here is one extremely rare, versatile, reliable, clean, desirable, practical and valuable 1994 YJ series Jeep Wrangler Sahara.This is quite simply the most original and unmolested Jeep of this vintage that I have ever seen or driven. (And I have seen and driven literally hundreds, that is why I was hired to sell this Jeep, I am a Wrangler enthusiast).So if you know Jeeps, you'll know what a treasure this one truly is. And if you don't, I hope to get enough of your attention that you might perhaps buy this one, and become the smartest investor in your neighborhood! I am selling this for the 3rd owner who inherited this Jeep from the 2nd owner. The current owner is simply not a Jeep enthusiast, and didn't want to keep putting lots of miles on this gem, when he doesn't see a Jeep as any different than any other vehicle.(In other words, they are all simply transportation to him, unlike Wrangler owners, who enjoy the unique versatility and adventurous spirit that the Jeep family brings with it).As you will see if you study the Autocheck report, there have been over 30k put on the Jeep in the last 4 years or so. There were only approximately 21k miles put on it in the first 15 years of its life. So this Jeep needs to get into a collectors hands to ensure continued preservation and enjoyment by someone that knows just how special this Jeep really is.As the story goes, the 1st owner was in the Military for over 20 years, and the Jeep was garage kept in between his deployments. (We do not know the original owner, but this would bode true based on the exceptional condition of this Wrangler).We do know that it was also garage kept by the 2nd and 3rd owners, and it shows. So what is so special about this Jeep you ask? Well again, if you know Jeeps of this vintage, you'll see that this one is a cut above what is available for sale these days. Here are the particulars and options this Jeep has:Legendary 4.0L straight 6 motor.Automatic transmission.Power steering, power brakes of course.Tilt steering wheel.Ice cold factory air conditioning.Shift on the fly 4x4.Factory center console.AM/FM Stereo CD Player. (Very recent Kenwood Excelon model that is XM and HD radio ready). With remote control.High quality Sarah Interior. (Even the saddle bags on the back of the seats are in like new condition).Alloy wheels.Hard top. In my opinion, this is the best looking, best running, best handling Jeep Wrangler YJ, that you will ever drive.That is one reason I am offering free delivery. (Yes, he said free delivery!) I would love to personally drive this vehicle anywhere in the continental U.S.(I will also pay to ship it for free, if the buyer doesn't trust my driving skills, or trust that nothing will happen to the Jeep en-route to you, however it would be fully insured during it's trip. I would also understand if the new owner would also want to have the Jeep shipped to keep the mileage on the odometer down). But I am offering this so that all doubt about the Jeep's reliability and drivability are removed from the potential buyers mind.Unlike many other Jeeps of this era, this one goes straight down the road, doesn't pull, sway, drift, shake or rattle.Goes extremely smooth on the highway even though these Jeeps were not known for that.It accelerates and stops like it should. No mechanical issues whatsoever. Recent work includes:4 Brand New 235/75/15 tires. (Kumo).New muffler and tail pipe.Even had the frame reinforced in the areas these are apt to rot out, and then undercoated the frame as well.That's it for work. It needed nothing else. It is that nice. So to give a more quantitative description of this Jeep, I will rate the various major categories of this beauty on a scale of 1-10. (1 of course being deplorable, and 10 being like factory new).Interior: 9.0 the seats, carpet, floors, dash board, and instrumentation are truly remarkable. All the dash gauges work perfectly, which is highly unusual with this vintage of Wranglers.Exterior: 9 there is no rust or dents. The Jeep has never been in an accident. The frame is as solid and clean as a 2-3 year old vehicle would be. Even the floors have none of the typical rot that you see with these YJ's.Mechanical: 9 this Jeep needs absolutely nothing that I know of, as stated above, it really performs beyond expectations as far as I am concerned.Tires: 10 they are literally brand new.All around: I'd have to give this Jeep a 9 at the very least. I can't say it often enough. It is in remarkable condition for a any vehicle of this age, let alone one that has been in New England and could have (but hasn't) been used in extreme conditions on a regular basis.Keep in mind that the Jeep has never even been detailed! I took the pictures inside, out and underneath with no cleaning, waxing, or even vacuuming done to the Jeep to show it it's daily condition. (Not all spruced up just for picture taking like car dealers do). So there you have it, now onto some particulars about this transaction if you are interested in making an offer or buying it:If you elect to purchase this Jeep at the buy it now price, you will have your choice of me driving it to you, anywhere in the continental U.S. for that exact price. Not a penny more. No strings attached, nothing to hide. I also promise to drive it to you within 1-4 weeks of full payment, depending on your schedule, mine, and any potential holiday travel conflicts. If you use the buy it now option and you want it shipped to you anywhere in the continental U.S., same as above, that will be done, with no hidden charges or fees.If you prefer to make an offer, and I accept it then you can still have me drive it to you for .80 per mile (calculated one way from my home to your delivery address, my zip is 02360 if you want to estimate this charge) the return trip is my expense, but I'm charging you a little bit more than the going rate to drive to you, in order to supplement my return trip costs. (I may fly, may rent a car one way, take a train or a bus, depending on time and distance etc.) Again, this applies to 48 U.S. states only.If you make an offer and I accept it, you can also have it shipped just about anywhere you want, but it will be at your expense, and you can choose the shipper, or let me choose. (Of course as mentioned previously, things like the battery, tires and muffler have been replaced to OEM specifications over the course of it's life).This is a really rare find.
