Vehicle Detail

What we have here is a truck that was originally a 4.3 Turbo Truck. That engine was blown, and has had a tasteful, V8 conversion. Yes, this still has the original, fully functioning, AWD that the Syclone was also well known for! When you buy this truck, you can jump in, and drive it home. Below are the stats: Engine: Chevy 350, completely re-machined, and rebuilt. Originally from a 1972 Corvette, Long block rebuilt to stock specs. The engine has had a Performer package added, which consists of the Performer Cam, Lifters, and Timing Chain. Also has the Performer Intake, and 500 CFM Performer Carburetor. Using MSD 6 Ignition Box & Distributor. Still using an in-tank, GM electric fuel pump, with externally mounted pressure regulator. V8 Swap Headers, that were nicely modified to work with the AWD chassis, flowing into a Flowmaster exhaust. Custom oil pan, and remote located oil filter, with custom lines. Also still uses the factory front accessory drive assembly for the alternator, P/S, A/C, and water pump. The accessory drive brackets have all been powder coated. Dual electric radiator fans. Drivetrain: Original, fully rebuilt 700R4 transmission. Has Midwest converter, and B&M TCC Lock up Controller. Front and rear differentials are stock, and have been serviced with fresh fluid. Brakes & Suspension: Brakes, steering, and suspension are all in good working order, and are stock. Wheels and tires are fair, matching, and useable. Body: This truck has been repainted at least once. The left bed side appears to have a clear coat related issue. Has rust in the rear of the bed floor, and starting at the right front wheel lip. Has some rust in the passenger door, lower edge. May have a couple other small spots. This truck is definitely worth saving, and having the body fixed. It is not that bad, as you can see in the pics. Lights all operate. All glass in good condition, and power windows work. Interior is in good condition. Has full compliment of Auto Meter gauges. The stock cluster is gone. Also has Auto Meter gauges on the A-pillar as well. Has the following gauges: Speedometer, Tachometer, Fuel Level, Volt, Water Temp, Oil Pressure, Trans Temp, Fuel Pressure. General: Runs good, drives good, stops well, sounds awesome. While it is no longer a Turbo V6, at least it has a clean, easy to work on, nice looking, great sounding, V8 in its place. Actual miles of the truck are unknown. The Auto Meter speedometer shows a little less than 3,000 miles, the engine has between 100 and 200 miles, and the transmission has less than a hundred miles. I am selling this because I am trying to lighten my load, and can use the cash to make home improvements. Power locks do not work. A/C needs charged. It is all there, and looks like it should function. If you are going to e mail me to complain about what I did to a poor Syclone, then don't bother. Besides, I got it this way, already converted in partial trade. Keep in mind though that it was not butchered, and can be put back to stock if you wanted to. If you want a fun truck, then here it is.
