This is my 1954 GMC 3/4 Ton Long Bed with a 270 cubic inch 6 cylinder. GMC's are much rarer than Chevrolets so get this one while you can. Here are the high points, its a GMC, its a five window, new brakes, new springs, new head, original motor, 12 volt, newly recovered seat, and new bed. It also comes with a rare GMC Hood bird and a visor. Here are the low points, it has rust holes that will need to be fixed in the corner of the cabs and one in the running board. The body otherwise is very straight and in very good shape besides needing a paint job. This truck was originally green and would look great that color again. This truck has a new battery and starts easilly on the first start. The compression is great and horsepower very good. It may need a ring job at some time because it will occassionly smoke but it DOES NOT affect running or drivability. The truck will also need a new exhaust system. I have layed this out the best I can. The pictures should tell the rest. THE ONLY REASON THAT I AM SELLING THIS IS BECAUSE I HAVE A 5 WINDOW 1950 CHEVROLET THAT I AM MORE FOND OF.
