Here we have a very RARE 1937 Ford Club Coupe. This car has just gone through a major overhaul. Every nut, bolt, washer, wire, clamp etc....are brand new. The car is all steel except for the nose and the rear fenders. The body is very solid and straight. It was never all rotted out. The body is solid and always was. The body was taken off the frame. The frame was all boxed, cleaned and painted. The chassis was completly updated. It has a Mustang II front end 2" drop, power disc brakes. Rack and pinion steering. The rear end is a 1957 Ford 9" posi. it has 3:55 gears. It was completely rebuilt end to end. All new brake lines were installed on the chassis by a local professional in Glen Head, NY. He also set the chassis up for the powerplant that is installed. It has a brand new crate 383 4 bolt main 415 horespower and 448 pounds of torque. The trans is a monster 700R4 built by Freddy Brown in Long Island, NY. This combination is increadible for this car. It has plenty of power and can be driven anywhere anytime! I drove it about 1,800 miles since being finished. It gets 24 miles to the gallon on long trips. Everything is perfect when cruising. The motor is cooled by a custom Aluminum radiator and electric fans. The wiring in the car is all brand new by painless wiring. Like I said earlier EVERYTHING is brand new. If its in this car it Brand new. The only thing that is not new is the original body and chassis. It also has a Bitchin firewall and Bitchin floors installed. The tires are all brand new as well as the American torque thrust wheels. All the glass is in the car and goes up and down like it should. No chips, cracks, or scratches. The windshield opens up the way it should. The moulding around the windshield could use a rechrome but still looks ok. The car was just painted a few weeks ago. It looks beautiful and shines incredible. Black is one of the hardest colors to make right. It looks great! The interior seats all look good but could be redone at some point or updated a little. There is 2 small holes in the front seat in spots were you don't see either of them. The back seat is nice with no holes. I have all the panels for the inside. the 2 kick panels are not installed but will be this week. I have a roll of the material the was used for the whole interior and will give it to you. Its enough to patch what is needed to be or do a complete rebuild. I also just installed a brand new black carpet. The floor and firewall were all done in Dynamat heat and sound shield.
