1987 Porsche 911 Carrera. This is a very solid, driver grade 911, based on the unusual color combination (Diamond Blue Metallic/ Dark blue interior) I believe this is a celebration edition Carrera. The G50 911s are considered by many to be the "best of breed" and offer some substantial improvements the most notable being the addition of the superior G50 gearbox over the antiquated 915 version. The paint on this car shows very, very will with the exception of the rear deck. A prior owner fitted a goofy wing that we removed, there are three holes in the rear deck that we have plugged. There is also a bit of a stain on the paint where the rubber gasket sat between the deck and spoiler. I suspect that these will buff out but a perfectionist would want to have the holes repaired and the lid painted. In my opinion, it is fine for a car that is a driver. Mechanically, the car is very sound. We just fitted a set of polished Fuchs wheels with brand new Pirelli tires we also serviced the brakes with cross drilled rotors and new ceramic pads. The AC has been converted to R134a and recharged. I've had this car out on several 100+ mile runs and it has performed flawlessly. The interior shows typical 911 wear, the front seat and dash both have cracks and would eventually benefit from some TLC. An aftermarket sound system was fitted at some point, there are no speakers currently fitted so audiophiles will want to address that at some point in the future should the sound of a flat six not suffice.
