I bought this car from from now 90 year old cousin last fall, she and her late sister bought it new in Oct. of 1974 @ K-Street Mtrs in Carlisle Pa. This car has been garage kept since new and in good /very good condition for being almost 40 years old. Never smoked in. The car has some minor sand scratches on the R/F Fender, the local road crew was trimming along my cousin's property and bumped the fender about 20 years ago. L & R seatbacks show some wear as does the L front door panel(inner)pictures show seat and door panel. see photos,there is also a small ding in the trim piece between the tailights(photo)very minimal rust (staining) at lower rear of fenders, I also notice some staining on the hood & trunk, ( acid rain? ) not sure what it is. The car is located close to Carlisle Pennsylvania. It has a slant six, 225, automatic transmission, power steering and am radio. Vinyl top, cloth seats. (rear seat was probably never sat in) the floor carpet and trunk floor were covered with cardboard & newspapers when I bought it, the seats (all & rear window shelf) were covered with blankets. My wife and I were going to keep this and drive it home but we travel several miles of gravel / dirt roads daily and I don't want to subject this car to them as we would use it here and I believe it deserves better. It now in my brother's garage as I live out of state, I can arrange and encourage inspection before bidding,call with questions (406) 431-8041,Mike ) I also have the car listed in the local area and reserve the right to cancel the auction. I put a new battery & spark plugs along with a grease job in it last Oct. when I bought it. It had not been out of the garage since 2006.I have driven it approx. 400 miles since and it drives fine, but could use a front end alignment. $500.00 deposit through Pay/Pal with in 48 hours of sale, remainder in cash @ pick up, The car will not leave until payment is clear ,NO WARRENTY / SOLD AS IS. Shipping is the buyers responsibility, The car is drivable and has no issues that would prohibit driving. Vehicle can be stored indoors until pick up , I would expect the courtesy of prior arrangements discussing a reasonable lenth of time. The car may have a few more miles on than shown as I had asked my brother to drive it some rather than leaving it set all the time, the difference would be minimal. My brother will be handling the delivery and title transfer for me as I have assigned him POA to do this transaction due to me being out of state. Again , I encourage questions and vehicle inspection to be sure of what you are bidding on., my brother is off work several days this week and should be able to show the car. I do have more pictures that I would e-mail upon request, e-bay limited me to 24 pictures. I believe I have described this car about as accurate as I can, again I encourage inspection and want the buyer to be satisfied with the car. Due to receiving a few additional pictures from my brother and e-bay not allowing me to edit the listing posting these photos and add a note about it I canceled the auction, these pictures show the rust on this car , relativley minor except for one area at the rear underside of the left rocker panel. He had the car put on a lift for these pictures. I would rather someone be upset that I canceled the auction before I would knowingly sell this with an inaccurate description.My apologys to all and thank you for your interest.
