Let me first say, I have owned/built about a dozen of these trucks and I have not seen one this nice in original condition. This truck was born in California and spent most of its life on a ranch/orchard. It must have lived in a barn, it was well taken care of. I ran the numbers on the block and its a 1954 235. So...I don't know if it was factory ordered with the bigger motor or it was put in later. The truck runs drives and stops. The truck is still 6 volt, the gauges work, I replaced the speedo, needs cable, the turn signals and spot light need to be hooked up. Horn works, lights work. I replaced the pine wood bed and the bench seat vinyl to original condition. Minimal rust, cab corners are good. Passenger window is cracked and so is both wing windows. The engine and under carriage could use a good cleaning, but other than that the truck is sound and runs like a top. Does need a little tlc to make perfect, truck has a few dents and scratches.This truck is a great candidate for a full restoration or just drive the way it is.
